The Giant Mechanical Man

"Sometimes I just feel invisible.  And I heard someone say something recently, that it just takes one person . . .  Just one person to make you feel like you belong.  To make you feel special."

Three years ago, I watched the Giant Mechanical Man come to life for the first time.
Three years later, I'm still touched by the honesty and sensitivity of its characters.
Tonight especially.
I think, just as it takes one person to make us feel a little less invisible, it also only takes one person to make us feel invisible.

Thank You.

I saw my life in this film, heard my thoughts, felt my heart.
Thank you, Lee Kirk.

A Letter of Introduction

The World of Suzie Wong (1960)  Perhaps it is William Holden's portrayal of a painter and Nancy Kwan's unequivocally unparalleled performance.  Whatever it is . . . brilliant.

The Painted Veil (2006)  Edward Norton a bacteriologist?  Cool.  Quips aside, one learns a thing or two about love from Walter and Kitty's relationship.

I don't recommend films unless they're worth a Friday night.
These two are worth a Friday and Saturday night.
