A Letter of Introduction

The World of Suzie Wong (1960)  Perhaps it is William Holden's portrayal of a painter and Nancy Kwan's unequivocally unparalleled performance.  Whatever it is . . . brilliant.

The Painted Veil (2006)  Edward Norton a bacteriologist?  Cool.  Quips aside, one learns a thing or two about love from Walter and Kitty's relationship.

I don't recommend films unless they're worth a Friday night.
These two are worth a Friday and Saturday night.
