I was sorting through some old work when I came across these lithography prints I produced back in my last year of undergrad. Rarely has this work been seen by a pair of eyes aside from my own. With only a small number of prints for each edition, I thought it would be nice to have them posted here on the blog. I suppose having the prints made public can serve as a reminder of how much I under-appreciated and under-used the printmaking studio during my time in college. This is a good case-in-point for how practice makes perfect [prints]. I definitely could have used the practice to ace the production of the prints (mind you, printmaking is a process), but dare I say that I sort of find satisfaction in the unevenness of ink? Still . . .
Kids, utilize the resources made available to you at University--don't take them for granted. And yes, I am considering finding a public printmaking studio in the city . . . let's see how that pans out.
